Batistuta Fulham bound?

Settimio Aloisio, the players agent, has told an Italian newspaper that Fulham are currently heading the list of possible clubs linked with Batistuta's proposed move to the English Premiership.

"His family want to go to England. His children, his wife and Gabriel are all studying English," said Aloisio.

Batistuta's contract with Roma expires next summer and he has told his agent to find him a high-profile English club and while he would prefer to play in London, the former Fiorentina frontman would consider a move out of the capital.
