"He's got the armband and he's leading from the front.
"He was having a little bit of a to-do with the ref. Normally he would have carried that on but he showed a little bit of maturity there, in the past that might have kept going on.
"He's an emotional character and is very passionate about his football and I think he's grown up a bit."
