Clark, who took over the captains armband during Andy Melvilles absence, also revealed he'd like to continue in the job.
"I was captain for a long period at Sunderland, for over half a season, I just enjoy doing the job really," he told Fulham's official website.
"I try to help out the other lads with my experience but I think we've been lucky this season in that all of the lads have gelled together and have formed a good unit. So it's been quite an easy job.
"I'd like to continue but I know that the responsibility's only fallen on my shoulders because of Andy's misfortune."
