Diop Bid Accepted

Jewel revealed that the offer fro the Senegal international midfielder had been accepted after Wigan's 2-0 home defeat to Everton on Sunday.

"We have made an offer for a player that has been accepted by his club," he has said.

"We are now waiting for that player to say yes or no. Hopefully that will be as early as tomorrow."
