"Thankfully, Alain recognised the injury early and let us know.
"The treatment he received in the dressing room for the latter part of the first half and the rest of the second half reduced any swelling and put him in a good position for a quicker recovery.
"Although we don't expect him to be ready for the next two matches, with the international weekend giving us some extra time, we hope he'll be fully fit for the Manchester United game."
