Zamora has been struggling with an Achilles injury and required a pain-killing injection for the second leg of the semi-final against Hamburg two weeks ago. But Hodgson insists Fulham's top scorer with 19 goals is on course to start the biggest match in the club's 131-year history, along with winger Damien Duff who has a leg problem.
"Both players trained on Monday and that was very positive," he said.
"Hopefully they'll train again on Tuesday evening and we'll have to wait and see if there's any reaction to that. I've been given no indication that they're suffering from a reaction so my hope is that they'll be available on Wednesday."
