"Of course it would be even better if we were still in the Premier League, but I wouldn't rule out staying if that weren't the case," the American keeper told the Daily Star.
"I've spent most of my professional career in London and absolutely love it here.
"A couple of weeks ago we had a chat about the possibility of staying next season.
"But it would have to be later on before we got down to serious talks about that."
