Keeper staying with Fulham

Van der Sar had previously hinted at leaving the club and questioned their ambition amidst the sacking of manager Jean Tigana.

"There is no way I am leaving," he told the Mail on Sunday.

"That may be disappointing for some, but I have a contract for another two years at Fulham."
