Marlet on his way?

French side Marseilles are thought to be monitoring the situation regarding Marlet, who was signed by former boss Jean Tigana for £11.5 million in the summer of 2001 from Lens.

"I don't want to leave, but I won't go against the club," Marlet told the evening Standard.

"If they want me to leave, I will. I'll respect their decision."
