The Fulham manager watched as an own goal from a Chris Gunter followed by strikes from Sone Aluko, Stefan Johansen and Chris Martin (two) ended Reading's five-match winning run.
Jokanovic said: "That was a very satisfying performance
It was a great afternoon for our supporters.
"We created many chances and showed how strong we can be if we believe in ourselves and our style.
"It was important to be brave against one of the top teams in the competition.
"We scored five but we could have been more clinical at some moments.
"It is important when your moment arrives that you kill off the opponents.
"When I took Watford up they were more a little bit more clinical than we are right now
"There's no point being unhappy because we didn't score more goals and I'm happy with the progress of our team
We're trying to find an identity and a style.
"We want to dominate teams.
"Normally I am never satisfied but today I am satisfied
I just want us to know that we can do still better than that."
A 15th-minute own goal from Gunter helped Fulham on their way and there was no looking back once Martin extended the lead four minutes after the break
Williams was then red carded for Reading in the 54th minute kicking out at Johansen.
It would only get worse with a 68th-minute strike from Aluko, and two minutes later Johansen piled on the misery.
Martin's late free-kick made it an afternoon to forget for fellow promotion chasers Reading.
Reading manager Jaap Stam had no complaints at the scoreline and said: "If you start a game like we did then the opposition will make it difficult.
"If you're not switched on enough and you're not sharp enough when you have the ball which we weren't then you make it easy for the opposition
"And they made it hard for us - they played very well and made it difficult.
"After going in at 1-0 we had a chance to make it better but didn't take it
We needed players to react because mentally you have to be strong
We gave them too much space and time on the ball, we made wrong decisions on the ball and they finished us."
Stam did clear Williams of any blame for his dismissal and said:
"It wasn't a red card
Danny had the ball and wanted to pass or kick it off then pitch
He fell lover and the Fulham player fell on top of him and I don't think Danny kicked him in the chest," he said
