"The gaffer [Roy Hodgson] told me he's been pleased with everything I've been doing in training and in the Reserve games but I know that I've just got to be patient," Gray told the clubs official website.
"Everyone's made me feel welcome and I'm settling in fine.
"Before the move I knew about Fulham and a couple of my friends have played here before.
"I had a chat with Wayne Routledge who told me a lot of good things about the club.
"You've got to keep believing in what you do on the training pitch and what the manager wants from you.
"We're a passing team and even the best passing teams won't win every game but we're doing the right things and I believe over the season we'll be up there."
